BMA’s Role

BMA served as the mechanical and plumbing engineer for the winery production facility, designing the systems that support the heart of Brave & Maiden’s winemaking operation.
BMA’s work included:

• Design of the winery production facility’s mechanical and plumbing systems, supporting fermentation, blending, and day‑to‑day winery operations
• Engineering of process support infrastructure, including process cooling and heating, domestic and process water systems, and ventilation serving production spaces
• Coordination of building systems to ensure production operations function efficiently while remaining integrated with hospitality and support areas
• Equipment selection and system documentation tailored to the needs of an estate winery focused on quality, precision, and stewardship
• Construction‑phase engineering support, including process piping coordination, responses to field questions, and participation in commissioning
• Preparation of water use documentation to support permitting, sustainability goals, and long‑term operational planning

Through a close collaboration with the design and construction teams, BMA helped deliver a winery production facility where infrastructure quietly supports winemaking, allowing the focus to remain on the vineyard, the wine, and the experience Brave & Maiden creates for its community.
